Alfa promises better service

24 July 2006

Alfa has promised better customer service for Alfa buyers.

The company has struggled in recent JD Power customer satisfaction surveys, coming 24th out of 30 manufacturers in the 2006 report.

However, Alfa boss Antonio Baravalle told What Car?'s sister magazine Autocar that British customers can expect 'a leap in quality in both the sales process and aftersales service' over the next year.

That means test drives will always be offered, there will be a fast parts delivery and a guaranteed courtesy car. A customer contact centre will open within a month.

Baravalle was tight-lipped about the company's plans, but said that Alfa would unveil a new model, 'a car that is a dream' at the Paris show in September.

This is tipped to be a very expensive production version of the 8C Competizione high-performance coupe first show at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show.
