Kia Provo concept car revealed
- Small SUV revealed at Geneva show
- Hybrid, coupe-style hatchback
- No plans for production
This is the Kia Provo concept car – a preview of a Nissan Juke rival from the Korean manufacturer –which has been unveiled at the Geneva motor show.
The Provo is a coupe-style hatchback, which, at less than four metres long, is around the same length as a regular supermini. The sculpted bodywork, narrow headlights, wide wheelarches and sills give it a sporty and aggressive look.
Its windscreen wraps around the front pillars, which creates the appearance of a floating roof.
Inside, the dashboard is made from carbonfibre. The front seats are fixed in place, so it's the pedals that move in order to adjust the driving position, while the front seatbacks rotate to improve rear-seat access.
The Provo is powered by a 1.6-litre T-GDi petrol engine that produces 201bhp and a 44bhp electric motor that drives the rear wheels.
There are no current plans to put the Kia Provo into production.
