Fiat Grande Punto

Fiat has released prices and equipment levels for its all-new Grande Punto supermini.

The cheapest three-door Active models cost £7494 with a 65bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine. The Punto Active is available for the first time with a 75bhp 1.3-litre diesel for £8495.

The new models offer dual front airbags, remote central locking and electric front windows, as well as a CD player with steering wheel-mounted controls, height-adjustable driver's seat and a steering wheel that adjusts for reach as well as for rake.

While five-door cars are available across virtually the entire range for an added £600, the Active Sport trim is only available as a three-door with the 77bhp 1.4-litre engine for £8495. Equipment levels are comprehensive, with side and curtain airbags now fitted as standard.

Dynamic is the next step up on the equipment ladder, and costs from £8495 with the 65bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine or £8795 with the 77bhp 1.4-litre unit. A 90bhp diesel is available for £10,195.

Standard Dynamic specification includes heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors, along with side and curtain airbags and air-conditioning.

You'll find a 120bhp 1.9-litre diesel in Elegenza trim for £12,295, but only in five-door guise. It comes equipped with larger alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, stability control, Bluetooth mobile phone preparation and reversing sensors.

A 130bhp version of the same engine is available in a three-door Sporting car for £11,895. Equipment is the same as a Dynamic model, but with the addition of body kit, larger wheels, chrome exhaust, stability control and Bluetooth phone preparation.
