Sporty pair for Lexus in Detroit
- Hot IS-F due in early 2008
- Lexus promises 'substantial' boost in power
- New sports concept will also be on show
Lexus has a pair of sporty cars lined up for the Detroit Motor Show in January.
The manufacturer will unveil a more powerful version of its IS compact executive called the IS-F. There's only one image of the car so far, but Lexus promises unique styling and, thanks to a V8 engine, 'a substantial' boost in power.
The IS-F is likely to go on sale early in 2008, and will be joined on the Lexus stand by an 'exotic' sports concept.
The concept is a separate project to the LF-A supercar that has already been seen at motor shows, but Lexus isn't saying any more about the car just yet.
