Trim overhaul for Peugeot 307 range
- New Urban entry-level trim from £11,900
- Range-topping GT trim from £17,000
- SW and CC models upgraded, too
Peugeot has overhauled its 307 ranges with improved specification, a new range-topping GT trim and higher prices.
Changes affect all models in the family, including the hatch, SW estate and CC convertible.
Entry-level hatches, called Urban, now include air-conditioning but cost £11,900, £600 more than the previous E-trim. The S gets 16-inch alloys, front fog lights, a leather steering wheel and cruise control for a £500 increase in price to £12,600.
A new Sport model costs £13,500, £1400 more than the S, and has leather upholstery, dual-zone air-conditioning, five-disc CD autochanger, 17-inch wheels, front sport seats and automatic headlights and wipers.
At the top sits the new GT. It's available with the 180bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine from £17,000, or the 136bhp HDi diesel motor for £17,500.
That means price increases of £400 over the Feline model it replaces, although specification improvements includes a Thatcham Category 1 alarm, rear spoiler, chrome exhausts and aluminium pedals.
The SW and CC have also had specification upgrades. The SW S receives cruise control and 16-inch alloy wheels for a £500 increase to £14,800; the new CC Sport, available across the engine range, has 17-inch alloys, leather and cruise control for £17,650, £300 more than the SE it replaces.
