VW Tiguan Match revealed
- Replaces mid-range SE trim
- Extra equipment
- On sale now, from £22,110
This is the Volkswagen Tiguan Match, the latest addition to the crossover's range.
Already a familiar name in the Golf, Polo and Touran model ranges, it's the first time the Match badge has been used on a Tiguan.
Replaces SE trim
The Match version replaces the mid-range SE trim and is £250 more expensive. However, the new model will add the following equipment:
• park assist
• climate control
• MP3 connectivity
• touch-screen DAB digital radio
• leather multifunction steering wheel
This equipment is in addition to the existing standard kit list, which includes stability control, six airbags and 17-inch alloys.
The Tiguan Match comes with a choice of two petrol and two diesel engines. The petrols are a 148bhp 1.4-litre and a 168bhp 2.0-litre unit. The diesels are a 2.0-litre with either 138bhp or 168bhp.
Both petrol engines and the 138bhp diesel can be specified with the new seven-speed DSG semi-automatic gearbox.
The Tiguan Match is on sale now and costs from £22,110.
