More than 10,000 of you voted for this year's Reader Award, but the final result came down to just a couple of hundred votes, with the Nissan X-Trail SUV just pipping the Jaguar F-type Coupe to the title.
The X-Trail was first revealed at the Frankfurt motor show in September 2013, and is due to go on sale in July this year. It is set to be available as either a five- or a seven-seater, and will come with two- or four-wheel drive.
Buyers will also be able to look forward to an improved cabin, with gloss plastics, soft-touch materials and a new touch-screen with a new satellite navigation system and stereo all promised.
X-Trails of the past have been practical both in terms of ability and looks - we'll let you know how it fares on the former shortly, but it's clear that its styling is already a winner.
