ASU - Accident, Sickness and Unemployment Insurance. When you take out most forms of finance, you will be offered ASU. It will add to your monthly outgoings, but if you lose your source of income through accident, sickness or unemployment, it will cover the cost of the monthly payments.
Make sure you are not already covered by your employer or by a separate policy before you sign. This is an increasingly popular way for dealers to make money.
