Cherished insurance - Cherished or classic insurance is offered for cars that an insurer is satisfied will be treated with special care by their owners. Different companies will have different definitions of what makes a cherished car, but the drawback is usually a low annual mileage limit, an insistence on the car being garaged and possibly an engineer's report if the car has been restored.
