Family car - The Ford Mondeo, Volkswagen Passat and Vauxhall Vectra are the best-known examples of this class of car. Such models are the backbone of company fleets and, as the name suggests, their space and refinement make them ideal for family buyers. However, supply often exceeds demand on the used market, leading to swift depreciation. New car buyers will lose money fast but used buyers can pick up bargains.
