Limited edition - A car built in limited numbers offered at what seems to be a bargain price. These cars will usually have a special paint job and better trim, plus a few extras thrown in. However, they are often launched to pep up sales of a flagging model. Beware, too, when you come to sell, as dealers will frequently only offer you the price for the base model if the limited edition is not listed in trade price guides.
