P - Paintwork

Paintwork - It pays to give the paintwork of any prospective used buy a thorough check. Look for mismatched paint colour on the body panels. If some panels appear a slightly different shade from others, it could be a sign of repairs following an accident.
You should also look out for areas of paint on rubber, plastic and chrome trim. This should reveal if the car's paintwork has been clumsily resprayed.
