P - Pre-registered

05 June 2006

Pre-registered - Cars which have already been registered by the dealer can be real bargains. Effectively they are new cars in all but name, the only real difference being that the dealer's or supermarket's name will appear as the first registered keeper on the V5C.

The saving between a pre-registered car and the list price can run into thousands but, before you buy, find out whether you can haggle a similar amount off a new car.
