Head restraints - Adjusting a seat's head restraint to the correct position takes seconds, yet it can drastically reduce whiplash injuries in the event of an accident. The headrest should be as close to the back of your head as possible without forcing it forward. Most can be raised and lowered to allow this and some also tilt forward, helping to give the ideal position.
