The new Volvo V40 R-Design is set to be shown off at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, though a few details of the car have made their way through the grapevines.

Toyota Paris 2012Japanese car giant Toyota is set to be busy at this year's Paris Motor Show, when the vehicle manufacturer shows off three new models.

First details of the new Volkswagen Golf

The seventh-generation of the Volkswagen Golf family has been unveiled, with the family hatch a treat on the eyes and boasting more technology offerings than ever.

BMW to enhance its 1 Series and 3 Series offerings

BMW will be adding a number of new engines and options to its 1 Series and 3 Series ranges before the year is out.

Audi A8 preparing to undergo a facelift

The Audi A8 is to receive a facelift early next year, before undergoing a radical makeover in either 2016 or 2017.

Starting with the 2013 facelift, the German car manufacturer has opted to focus its attention on giving the engine of the Audi A8 a bit more bite.

As such, the V8 TDI unit will be boosted so that it can perform up to 400hp. On top of this, plans are being put into place to give Audi A8's W12 unit a twin-turbo setup.

New Lexus RX combines high quality with low emissions

The new Lexus RX combines excellent performance and styling with lower emissions than other cars in its class, according to the Japanese manufacturer.

A class leading 145g/km CO2 emissions on the full hybrid system attracts a benefit-in-kind tax rating of 20 per cent, which is also enjoyed by the new RX 450h F Sport.
