Jenson Button

Jenson goes for the F1 World ChampionshipJenson button today goes into the brazillian grand prix to hopefully give the UK back to back world drivers championship wins. Last year Lewis Hamiliton deservedly took the number one spot after being cruelly robbed in 2007. Jenson Button however is a suprise championship winner should he pull it off. A great start to the 2009 formula 1 season where Jenson clocked up 6 wins in the first 7 races, Jenson has been critisced by a select few as he hasnt had a race win since the 7th June 2009 in the Turkish grand prix. However the championship is a marathon and Jenson gritted his teeth and is still leading the championship by grinding points out in the lower half of the top 10 apart from his podium finish in the italian Grand prix where he finished second.

The Brazzilian Grand Prix has so far been a wash out and qualifying has been hampered by heavy rain and dangerous conditions. The only man to have come out of qualifying with his head held high and a smile on his face is Rubens Barrichello who is Buttons team mate and closest challenger to the title by taking pole position, Jenson is down in 14th position, sabastian Vettel in 16th and Lewis Hamiliton in 18th on the grid This all makes for another fantastic climax to a superb formula 1 2009 and Lease Cars Direct wish Jenson Button all the luck we can, Go Jenson!!
