The grand unveiling of the Jaguar XFR-S supersaloon will be the standout model of the British manufacturer's line-up for the 2012 LA International Auto Show.
The all-new 2013 Land Rover is sure to catch the eye at the LA Motor Show, especially since it will be the first SUV across the globe to come complete with a lightweight all-aluminium body.
Meanwhile, the newest Jaguar F-TYPE vehicle in the range is also being shown off for the first time. Presenting a Black Pack performance trim, the two-seat soft-top convertible sports car also features lightweight aluminium detailing and offers motorists rear-wheel drive.
It is the Jaguar XFR-S supersaloon which could well steal the show. Set to give the beloved BMW M5 a run for its money, the car is rumoured to be coming packed with a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged engine.
This motor enables the car to boast a thunderous 550hp, hit 60mph from rest in a mere 4.4 seconds and reach an astounding top speed of 186mph.
Andy Goss, the president of Jaguar Land Rover North America, pointed out that the three launches are set to make the 2012 LA International Auto Show "one of the most significant U.S. shows in years" for the British-based manufacturer.
