In fact, as an attempt to try and make the 2013 edition of the prestigious motoring show the best one yet, Lexus is to showcase its entire new collection of IS vehicles at Goodwood’s Moving Motor Show.
Held on the eve of the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 11th, motorists will be able to get a glimpse of a car range that has been “inspired by the acclaimed LF-CC concept car” and has taken a host of “design cues from the iconic LFA”.
The all-new IS sports saloon is sure to be the highlight of this particular presentation, with the vehicle being designed with a bold spindle grille unit and a unique headlamp cluster. Then there is the car’s L-shaped daytime running lights, which serve to further enhance the vehicle’s character and display its elegance and dynamism.
Rather than just admire the all-new Lexus IS sports saloon from afar though, guests at Goodwood’s Moving Motor Show can go one step further and actually organise a short test drive of the car on the day.
Fans of the Lexus range will also be pleased to hear that both the manufacturer’s GS executive saloon and the LFA supercar are also being showcased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The latter vehicle is sure to catch plenty of attention in particular, seeing as Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has recently described it as “the best car I’ve ever driven”.
Motoring enthusiasts in attendance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed will be able to see just why this is the case, when the Gazoo Racing team puts the Nurburgring 24 Hours race car through its paces on Goodwood’s iconic hill course.
The 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place between July 12th and 14th.
