The design team behind the future styling of the ever-popular MINI have been showing off some of what they have coming soon, and it looks like fans of the chunky and cheeky little cars will not be disappointed with what's ahead.
Anders Warming, Head of MINI Design, showed various design exercises to detail what he and his design team have under consideration for the best-seller, including the MINI Vision we see here. The MINI Vision is said to be getting very close to what MINI drivers will be enjoying in the coming new model releases.
Whilst some may say that there isn't a huge evolution between the current MINI and the new styling packages on offer, it is clearly more a case of evolution rather than revolution, with the MINI designers surely very careful not to turn off their army of loyal MINI fans all over the world.
Details of interest however is a new and clear separation of the roof, glasshouse and body. There is now a chrome strip that wraps around the top of the body, a more distinctive side indicator element and a black band framing the lower edge of the freshly restyled car. It's at points like this that the designers like to get feedback from the public and the dealers, but it looks like so far, so good.
