The Chrysler 300 has undergone a facelift and the new version will make an appearance at Januarys Detroit Motor Show. At the front, the new Chrysler 300 features a much needed toned down grille than the one that dominates the current car. Chrome is still on offer but not in the abundance as used before and the more rounded bonnet, grille and new headlights that feature LED daytime running lights helps soften the Chryslers appearance. The rear of the car has new taillights and with the new chrome strip which sits beneath the boot really helps finish the car off. Chrysler has improved the all round quality on the inside and has fitted a new 8.4-inch infotainment touch screen package while also improving the quality of the leather and new trim materials. No announcement on new engines yet for the 300 but UK models look like they will be sticking with the 3.0 litre V6 diesel engine which is available with either a manual or auto gearbox. The car shown here in the picture is top spec up (US Spec) so expect a little less chrome on the UK version which goes on sale late 2011. The Chrysler 300 will retain its badge in the UK and it will be joined by the new 2011 Grand Voyager. Lancias Delta and Ypsilon will also join the Chrysler range but both will be rebadged with the Chrysler logo.
