The latest Sunday Times Top 100 Cars has named the Skoda Citigo as the Best City Car in its annual listing.
Each year, the countdown is compiled by members of the Sunday Times Driving editorial team, with ratings given on the basis of value, performance and entertainment.
It is just the latest award given to the Skoda Citigo, adding to the Auto Express Car of the Year and Best City Car by What Car? accolades it has scooped already.
Judges from the national newspaper said the Skoda was the best value, which is one of the most important factors in its particular class. It also noted that the car is fun to drive around city streets and features a "lively engine".
Brand director for Skoda UK Alasdair Stewart said: “We’re delighted that The Sunday Times has bestowed its top City Car honour on the Citigo. It’s a car that perfectly embodies Skoda’s philosophy of delivering high quality products with attractive designs, at extremely affordable prices.”
The vehicle is available to drivers in both three- and five-door versions and in four unique trim levels.
