The SKODA Superb has picked up the 'Private Hire Car of the Year' award from publication Professional Driver.
It is the fourth time the car has gained the accolade and it was handed over at the Copthorne Hotel Effingham in Gatwick. The panel included experienced vehicle testers in addition to a selection of Professional Driver's readers.
The judges took each car on a full day's evaluation before putting forward their votes, with the Superb hatch praised for its attractive design, vast interior space and excellent fuel economy.
Able to achieve 61.4mpg and releasing CO2 emissions of just 121g/km, the car is an absolute dream for any business needs.
Editor of Professional Driver, Mark Bursa, said the car was "the clear winner" in the category, adding that it is almost "purpose-designed" for the needs of private hire companies.
"The car has an enormous amount of room, excellent functionality, high comfort, top safety, great value for money and timeless elegance, which is why it continues to be a popular choice for both our fleet and private customers.”
