The brand new Toyota Aygo has been released, with additional Fire and Ice models now available. Prices start at £8,495 with first car deliveries expected on 1 March.
Improvements have been made to the Toyota Aygo's styling to compete with the all-new Yaris and the 1.0-litre petrol engine has been amended to bring emissions below 100g/km. Vehicles with the manual transmission claims only 99g/km and 65.7mpgs of fuel economy, while the automatic version claims 104g/km and 62.7 respectively.
Cheaper than the 2011 model by £105, the basic Aygo and Aygo+ trims get the same standard equipment as before. The Toyota Aygo Fire model, starting from £9,595, has a sporty appearance with LED daytime running lights, 14 inch alloys, foglights and topped off with tinter windows. The Toyota Aygo Ice model, costing £9,895, is given Alcantara and leather trim, Bluetooth, air-con and a USB port included.
