Aston 's Cygnet supermini is available now with special launch editions of the car priced at a staggering £39,995, which is £27,740 more than the Toyota IQ it's based on.
Up to around 100 of the White and Black launch editions will be available. Prices for the standard Cygnet are £30,995.
The launch editions come in exclusive paint finishes with extra brightwork detailing for the White and dark accents on the Black. Both also get a tailored five-piece set of luggage by Bill Amberg, and hand-finished leather interior with Alcantara headlining.
As with all Cygnets, the IQ's exterior styling has also been reworked to give it an Aston appearance with a distinctive grille, side vents and inverted rear lights.
The Cygnet is mechanically identical to the 1.33-litre IQ. The 97bhp is matched to six-speed manual gearbox or continuously variable automatic transmission.
Both can reach up to 106mph, but the automatic is 0.2sec faster than the manual from 0-60mph with a time of 11.6sec.
The manual, however, is slightly more economical returning 56.5mpg compared to the auto's 54.3mpg. Emissions range from 116g/km for the manual to 120g/km for the automatic.
