Buyers of the new Vauxhall Astra Estate are being offered a range of optional extras designed to increase its practicality.

Heading the list is the £99 FlexOrganiser system, a series of rails, nets and hooks that can be used to divide up the boot space and prevent smaller items sliding around. This was launched in the Vectra Estate.

Dog owners can get a separator grid that divides the Astra’s luggage compartment in two for £77, and £88 buys an interior bicycle carrier, which secures up to two bikes in the load area.

A portable cool bag and a cool box, which can be attached securely to the front or rear passenger seats using the standard three-point seatbelts, cost £85 and £123 respectively.
