Buyers of Peugeot’s 2.0-litre diesel 807 MPV can now opt for an automatic gearbox.
Costing from £21,100 in LX form, a premium of £1800 over its manual equivalent, the 2.0 HDi auto also now comes with an electronic stability programme as standard. Until now, an auto was only available on 2.0-litre petrol 807s.
Meanwhile, Peugeot is offering two years’ free insurance on S versions of its 307 small hatch if customers buy their car using the manufacturer’s Passport finance scheme.
The 307 S costs £11,600 and comes with air-conditioning, 15-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured bumpers, a CD player, six airbags and anti-lock brakes. It is available with 1.6- or 2.0-litre petrol engines, or 1.4 or 2.0 HDi diesels.
Two new special-edition versions of Peugeot’s 206 supermini have also been launched. The 206 Entice, which costs from £7995, features body-coloured bumpers and door mirrors, foglights, sports seats and an aluminium gearknob, while the 206 Allure has a panoramic glass roof, half-leather trim and metallic paint. It is available in 1.6 five-door form and costs from £12,395. Both models are available until the end of September.
