Ford has increased prices for the second time in five months with an average rise of 1% across the Fiesta supermini, Fusion MPV, Focus hatchback and Mondeo family car ranges.
In spite of increases ranging from £70 on Fusion One to £275 across the entire Mondeo range, specification levels will not change.
The price rises are further evidence that the fall in UK list prices experienced over the last few years has come to an end.
Although rising prices have already been detected by Alliance & Leicester’s Car Price Index, the increases are small and still leave canny buyers room to negotiate for big savings on their next car.
Use What Car?’s Target Price to find out the most you should pay for your next car. Each month an indicated price for every car on sale is printed in the magazine and is also available online at Whatcar.com.
