Skoda is launching its face-lifted Fabia supermini with the offer of reduced prices and free air-conditioning on all models until the end of the year.
The revised Fabia is now on sale from £6995 with chilled air as standard. This adds up to a saving of £1050 over the previous entry-level Fabia Classic, which did not have air-con.
As part of the offer, the top-drawer Elegance models come with extra equipment worth £500 as standard, including rear parking sensors and cruise control. However, the Elegance’s prices remain unchanged, starting at £10,630.
The styling changes across the Fabia range include a new front grille, spoiler and fog lights, as well as new rear light clusters, similar to the Octavia’s. The interior upholstery has also been revised.
Classic and Elegance versions remain, but the Comfort name changes to Ambiente, in line with the rest of the Skoda range.
After the initial special offer ends, the revised Fabia models will be priced the same as the previous versions, while the sporty vRS hot hatch will remain unchanged for 2005.
