Jeep and Chrysler sport specials

15 January 2004

A pair of special editions have been launched by Jeep and its sister company Chrysler.

At £24,995 for the 4.0-litre petrol or £26,695 for the 2.7-litre diesel, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Sport is up to £4000 less than the next cheapest models from the 4x4 range.

It misses out on specification such as automatic windscreen wipers, leather upholstery, climate control, heated seats with memory settings, metallic paint and steering wheel-mounted stereo controls, but still gets electric seat adjustment, air-conditioning, alloy wheels and CD player.

The £13,995 Chysler PT Cruiser Sport is £1000 more expensive than the Classic model it is based on but it is fitted with a roof-mounted spoiler, exclusive graphite-coloured metallic paint and 16-inch alloy wheels.
