Renault’s updated and face-lifted Kangoo MPV range is now on sale.
Entry-level Authentique versions cost from £9100 with a 75bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine, an increase of £150 over its predecessor.
Extra equipment is now fitted as standard to the car, however, including a radio-cassette player with steering wheel-mounted controls plus height-adjustable front headrests.
A new trim level called Expression has been introduced, and costs from £9650 when matched to the 1.2-litre engine. Alloy wheels, front foglamps, heated wing mirrors and a CD player are fitted as standard. Overhead parcel shelves and aircraft-style locker bins provide extra stowage space.
Anti-lock brakes, side airbags and air-conditioning are optional on all models.
Both trim levels are also available with the 65bhp 1.5-litre dCi common-rail diesel for an additional £700, or the 95bhp 1.6 petrol for a £1000 premium. The 1.2-litre and 1.5-litre models use a five-speed manual gearbox but can be specified with the four-speed automatic ’box standard on the 1.6.
The 1.9-litre diesel and Trekka four-wheel-drive versions of the Kangoo have been dropped from the line-up.
