Buyers can now save more than £2000 on Vauxhall’s VX220 roadster range.

The list price of the normally aspirated 145bhp 2.2-litre model has been slashed by £2250, bringing it down to £20,745. And, although its list price remains unchanged, the What Car? Target Price also shows that determined hagglers can buy the 200bhp 2.0-litre Turbo from Vauxhall dealers for £23,500, a saving of £2000.

Vauxhall is also planning to add a 220bhp turbocharged range-topper to the line-up next spring. It is likely to cost around £30,000, £4500 more than the 200bhp model.
