What Car? is launching its first DVD tomorrow – and it’s free with every issue of the new-look Road Test Directory.

Called What Car? Test Drive Live, the DVD contains more than an hour of video road tests, featuring the new BMW 1-series, Volvo XC90 and 21 family cars from the Ford Mondeo to the Vauxhall Vectra.

What Car? group editor Steve Fowler said: ‘What Car? has always reacted to car buyers’ needs, and we know there’s a desire to get clear, unbiased advice on TV on a model of their choosing. DVD is the ultimate tool to help them do that.

‘We’re ensuring that What Car? remains the one brand buyers can rely on to give sound advice that will help them buy the right car at the right price with confidence.’

Every issue of the What Car? Road Test Directory will have a free DVD. The magazine remains at £7.50 but is now a monthly rather than a bi-monthly publication. The Road Test Directory packs in reviews and ratings on every new car on the market as well as buying tips and advice. The October edition is on sale from tomorrow.
