Sporting style for Skoda

18 November 2004

Skoda will expand its Fabia and Octavia ranges next year with new Sport models and luxurious trim levels.

The manufacturer has not yet revealed any details but has said Sport trim will be offered in the Fabia supermini range from the beginning of 2005. The cars could get the same kind of looks as vRS models but will probably include less powerful engines.

The same trim will be added to the Octavia range in March before the high-performance vRS models make their debut at the end of the year.

Luxurious Laurin & Klement trim, with leather upholstery, also appears in the small family car range in March.

  • Skoda has already confirmed that the new estate version of the Octavia will go on sale in February 2005, with 4x4 versions following in March. Visit us on Monday to read our first road test of the car.
