The all-new Mercedes M-Class hits showrooms in September, with prices expected to start from £32,000, and you can now watch it in action on video.
Whatcar.com testers have driven the new M-Class, and were impressed with the significant improvements in comfort and on-road refinement over its predecessor. Mercedes has upped its game to compete with the BMW X5, Land Rover Discovery and Volvo XC90 – all of which left the old M-Class looking well off the pace.
At launch, there will be one diesel and two petrol engines to choose from. Expect prices to be similar to the outgoing model, with the range-topping 5.0-litre V8 version likely to cost around £46,000
