Transport is likely to feature highly in the parties’ campaigns for election to Government. Issues such as the spread of speed cameras, increased drink-driving, road tolls and congestion have all pushed motoring up the political agenda in recent years.

With more than half of the UK’s 60-million population holding a driving licence, there are plenty of votes to be won and lost.

We’ll present each of the parties’ policies in the run-up to the election, but also want to hear from you. What do you think should be at the heart of their transport strategies? How could they improve your life as a motorist?
