Overall

Features
Materials, straps and padding around the harness are good, but the Iseos feels as if it could do with a little more padding. Instead of a close-fitting head support the Iseos has an interesting feature where you can narrow or widen the shape of the seat itself by winding the side sections in or out with a knob at the front. This two section dial also reclines the seat, so there are no fixed number of positions, but rather a broad range from upright to laidback.

Ease of operation
It can take quite a while to wind the seat out to its most reclined position, which you need to do to route the seatbelt behind the Iseos. This presents a problem in fitting the seat. Besides that, the routing is fairly simple and there are two tension devices to ensure it's secure. Hooks make it easy to seat your child, but adjusting the harness to one of the three available heights takes a huge amount of time.

Buying
The Iseos, a mid-price seat, isn't easy to find online, so you can reduce its price only a little by shopping around.

Quality
The controls and fabrics feel like they are good quality, although the in and out movement of the side wings can be a little jerky.

Special features
The adjustable side sections are a unique feature and offer excellent scope in adapting the seat around your child as they grow.
