The Kia Sportage KX-4 is a new range-topping version of Kia's compact SUV, with a new diesel engine and high standard of kit.
The Sportage KX-4 has a 181bhp version of Kia's 2.0 CRDi diesel engine; 47bhp more than the existing 2.0 CRDi model. Four-wheel drive is standard.
Average fuel economy and CO2 emissions are 46.3mpg and 158g/km with a standard six-speed manual gearbox. The optional six-speed automatic version returns 39.2mpg and emits 189g/km of CO2.
Standard equipment includes leather upholstery, 18-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, satellite-navigation xenon headlights, automatic lights and wipers, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, heated front and rear seats and a reversing camera.
Extra kit over KX-3 Sat Nav models includes a parallel-parking-assist system, front parking sensors and a keyless-entry-and-starting system.
At £27,195 for manual versions and £28,500 with an automatic gearbox there's a £1570 premium over the equivalent KX-3 Sat Nav model. The Kia Sportage KX-4 is on sale now.
