2012 Skoda Citigo prices revealed

05 April 2012

The Skoda Citigo will cost from £7630 when it goes on sale in June.

That's £365 less than the VW Up and £215 less than the Seat Mii, making Skoda's model the cheapest of the three virtually identical city cars.

A five-door version of the Citigo will go on sale at the same time and will cost £350 more than the three-door car.

The Citigo is available in three trims: S, SE and Elegance. The entry-level model gets steel wheels, and comes with a height-adjustable steering wheel and a CD player with aux input.

SE-trim versions start at £8530, and get air-con, electric front windows, stability control and remote central locking.

Top-spec Elegance cars get alloys, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, heated front seats, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, and front foglights. A removable sat-nav infotainment system with Bluetooth is also standard.

Like the Seat Mii and VW Up, the Citigo comes with a choice of two three-cylinder petrol engines with either 59 or 74bhp. A five-speed auto gearbox is also available.
