Alfa Romeo Mito: the sportiest mini? - Introduction

When Alfa launches its first supermini next year, the Mito, it's hoping to attract new, young buyers to the Alfa brand.

To do that, it's tagging the car as the 'Sportiest 'mini'. That's a bold claim, perhaps, given that Ford's new Fiesta is due in September and Seat's next Ibiza has just gone on sale - cars that will also have at least some sporting pretensions.

The claim might not be without value, though, because Alfa is bringing a number of clever systems to the car that may substantiate its claims.
