This is the Ford Fiesta S, a sporty model that was unveiled at this week's Beijing motor show and shows how the Fiesta ST will look when it goes on sale next year.
The five-door car on show in Beijing has a number of changes to differentiate it from the standard Fiesta, which will go on sale in the UK this autumn.
These include redesigned headlights, foglights located in the grille, a lower splitter, lower side skirts, a roof spoiler and sporty alloy wheels.
The cabin is similar to the standard car's, though, which was first shown at this year's Geneva motor show.
Ford insiders say that it will almost certainly go on sale next year. It will have all the visual enhancements of the car on show in Beijing, but is expected to be a three-door. A 1.6-litre petrol engine with around 160bhp is a likely powerplant.
Prices are tipped to start from £14,000.
