Audi A3 Cab gets smallest-ever engine
The 104bhp A3 1.2 TFSI Cabriolet uses the smallest petrol engine ever to power an Audi, but matches the output of the 1.6 MPI version it replaces.
Better performance – but cleaner and leaner
Powered through a six-speed manual gearbox, the 1.2 TFSI travels from 0-62mph in 12.2 seconds and goes on to a top speed of 118mph – improvements of 0.3 seconds and 4mph over the 1.6 MPI it's replacing.
Despite these improvements in performance, the 1.2 TFSI produces 132g/km – 35g/km less than the previous car, while also boosting average economy by 9.2mpg to 49.6mpg.
The car comes in standard, Sport and S line trim. Standard cars get:
• 16-inch alloy wheels
• Electric windows and mirrors,
• CD player
• Semi-automatic hood
Sport versions come with:
• 17-inch alloy wheels
• Sports suspension
• Sports seats
• Fully automatic hood operation
S Line models add:
• 18-inch alloys wheels
• S line body styling, including exclusive front and rear bumper design
• S line sports steering wheel
• Leather gearknob
The new A3 1.2 TFSI Cabriolet is available to order now. It costs from £19,985 – £490 less than the model it replaces.
