Audi's A3 Cabriolet will cost from £20,750.
The four-seater will share the majority of the petrol and diesel engines in the A3 range, with power outputs ranging from 103bhp to 196bhp.
These are linked to either a five-speed or six-speed gearbox as standard, although buyers will have the option of upgrading to a high-speed semi-automatic system.
The car is available in three trim levels: Standard, Sport and S Line.
Standard features include 16-inch alloy wheels, air-con and electric windows. The roof requires unlatching and latching from the windscreen, but raises and lowers at the touch of a button.
Sport costs an additional £1850 and offers 17-inch alloy wheels, sports suspension and sports seats and a fully automatic roof operation.
The S Line specification costs an additional £1550 and adds 18-inch alloy wheels, more aggressive body styling, leather upholstery and a multi-function steering wheel with gearshift paddles.
Deliveries will begin in May.
