Friday, October 12, 2007

Audi has introduced an all-new direct-injection, turbocharged engine to its A5 coupe range.

With 168bhp, the 1.8 TFSI unit powers the car to 62mph in 8.4sec and on to a top speed of 140mph. Average fuel economy is 39.8mpg.

Carbon dioxide emissions of 169g/km place the car in VED band E for road tax, meaning you'll pay £165 a year.

Standard equipment includes leather upholstery, three-zone climate control, rear parking sensors and an electric parking brake.

The car costs £26,190 and first deliveries are expected in November.
