The first photos of Audi's drop-top supercar, the R8 Spyder, have leaked out on the web, ahead of the car's official unveiling at the Frankfurt motor show next week.

All four images of the car are with the roof down. It's thought the R8 Spyder will be a soft-top and powered by the 518bhp V10 from the standard R8 V10.

Full details about the car will be revealed next Tuesday at 12:00 BST.
