Bentley Continental GT Speed

This is the new Bentley Continental GT Speed coupe – a high-performance version of the Continental GT.

Power comes from an uprated version of the standard car's 6.0-litre W12 petrol engine. It develops 616bhp (a 49bhp increase) and 590lb ft of torque (a 74lb ft increase).

Drive goes to all four wheels, through a new close-ratio eight-speed automatic gearbox. Bentley quotes a 0-60mph time of 4.0 seconds (0.4 quicker than the standard car) and a top speed of 205mph.

A lowered ride height and tweaked steering and suspension are aimed at giving sharper handling.

Exterior changes are limited to bespoke 21-inch alloy wheels, dark-tinted air intakes and a 'rifled' finish for the exhaust tailpipes. The cabin features upgraded materials.
