Big changes at Land Rover - Introduction

Land Rover will introduce significant updates to three models.

There are softer looks for cars sometimes criticised as 'too aggressive', upgraded interiors, new V8 petrol and V6 turbodiesel engines, major chassis changes and a couple of world firsts.

The revisions will affect the Range Rover (June) and the Range Rover Sport and Discovery (September). The Discovery is so different it will be re-christened Discovery 4.

'This is a bold statement of intent,' says managing director Phil Popham. 'It says that Land Rover is very much alive and kicking.'
