British International Motor Show - Volvo

18 July 2006
C30? Not just yet
Volvo releases the first details of the all-new C30 on July 24, but London showgoers will have to satisfy themselves with this C30 Design Concept - first seen at the Detroit Motor Show in January.

The production car won't be radically different, so take a look at the concept, then log on to whatcar.com for the full story about the car on July 24.

The production car retains the four-seater layout and most of the sporty looks, and will be officially launched at the Paris Motor Show in September.

Executive stress
Decisions, decisions... If you are thinking about changing your BMW 5 Series or Mercedes for a new 56-plate in September, maybe you should take a look at Volvo's stand before signing on the dotted line.

Here, you can get a first close look at the new S80 executive car. It will be rolling into UK showrooms next month, ready for delivery in September.

That's not all
However, it's a busy old year for Volvo and there is plenty more on the stand, including your first chance to look at the 2007 model XC90, the world debut of the face-lifted S60 and, of course, the stylish C70 convertible.

Volvo will have rides in their XC70 and XC90 off-roaders and the kids will get Pirates of the Caribbean goodies.
