The Chevrolet Aveo RS concept car will make its European debut at the Geneva motor show next month.
Hot-hatch styling
Originally revealed at the Detroit motor show last month, the Aveo RS concept car's sporty styling provides a preview of how the next-generation Aveo will look.
The Aveo RS concept car has Chevrolet signatures including the two-part grille and round taillamps. Designers have made the car's face more aggressive by adding a lower mouth with aluminium trim and integrated foglamps in the brake-cooling inlet.
At first glance it might look like a three-door hatch, because the rear door handles are hidden in the C-pillar. The exposed headlamps are inspired by motorcycles.
Other sporty touches include the rear spoiler and centrally mounted exhaust with chrome tips.
Five-spoke, 19-inch alloy wheels complete the package, with the large blue brake calipers visible through the openings.
The Aveo RS concept car is powered by a 136bhp 1.4-litre Ecotec turbocharged engine, which is mated with a six-speed manual gearbox.
