The new Chevrolet Malibu will make its European debut at the Frankfurt motor show next month.
The mid-sized family four-door model was unveiled in April this year, and is due to go on sale in Europe during 2012. It will be offered with either a 162bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine or 167bhp 2.4-litre diesel. Each will be available with either a manual or automatic gearbox.
Chevrolet says that a decision on whether the Malibu will go on sale in the UK has not yet been reached. If it does, it will be pitched as a keenly priced rival for the Ford Mondeo and Vauxhall Insignia.
More information on the Chevrolet Malibu will be released at the Frankfurt motor show.
