The Chevrolet Spark supermini will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show next month.
The Matiz replacement, which is scheduled to go on sale in the winter, will be powered by 1.0 and 1.2-litre petrol engines.
Chevrolet says key features of the car are its 'outstanding passenger space, entertaining driving characteristics and extraordinary value for money'.
The Spark is based on Chevrolet's Beat concept car, which has been shown at various motor shows, most recently in Detroit last month.
Chevrolet will also display the four-door Cruze small family car, which will go on sale this summer.
Available with 1.6 or 1.8-litre petrol engines, plus a 2.0-litre diesel, Chevrolet says the Cruze will have 'excellent dynamics, passenger comfort and build quality'.
Price and spec for the Spark is yet to be confirmed.
